I wish there were a way to truly express the deep frustration which I feel at this time. My mother sent me a package from the U.S. to Chile through FedEx services. She paid $200!!!!!! That’s a rip off by itself, but sadly it didn’t stop there. The package arrived to Chile, and on the day it was going to arrive I get a call to confirm my address. I confirmed, and then was told that I would be charged an ADDITIONAL $100 because of some “taxes” imposed by the Chilean government. My package is literally filled with some documents and a small gift for my new born baby. The tax is worth at least five times as much as the value of the items! And what’s up with this mysterious tax? Why wasn’t my mother informed when she sent the package that she was going to be charged extra? It’s because there is no tax. Why would I pay a tax directly to the guy who shows up on my door step to deliver the package? Explain to me how that money is going to get into the hands of the government. And why is it that this tax only applies to FedEx? I’ve received many packages through the U.S. postal service while living here in Chile, and guess what? NO TAX!!! This is what I call a con. They don’t inform you about the additional charge up front so that they can hold your package hostage and force you to pay it when they show up at your doorstep. It’s a way for them to suck more money out of you. As if it wasn’t enough already. What an unprofessional company. A company’s reputation is built upon the way in which they treat their customers. So I would say that FedEx is shady, deceitful, dishonest, and greedy. They have no virtues, and I will make a point of never using them again. I hope that anyone who is considering using FedEx stops doing so. They don’t deserve your money. If I could give a 0 on this review, I would. No transparency, no trust. Thanks for robbing me FedEx.

Terrible service, I sent important documents through urgent and fast delivery, they did not meet delivery dates, they tell me that my shipment is lost in warehouses. Terrible experience I do not recommend it at all, they affected important procedures and without giving any response and taking charge of the situation.

FedEx Chile SPA the worst experience of all in terms of international purchase delivery. I have a lot of experience buying online outside of Chile and in general, Chilean delivery companies, if they are not brilliant in their services, at least notify you in a timely manner of customs and transport costs for delivery. FedEx arrives at my door yesterday and tells me that the cost of delivery is 86 thousand pesos. The product I bought does not exceed 120,000 pesos and the seller was paid 50 dollars more for shipping. I tell the delivery man that it is impossible to pay so much, because I understand customs and transportation charges in Chile and he tells me that it is not his issue, that we are in Chile and here they charge for everything. FedEx charges you for everything and when I try to contact there is an international number that obviously will generate extra costs. I did not receive the product, I spoke with the seller and he agreed to return the 50 dollars for shipping and I will pick up the package at the office today, to at least tell them to their faces that they are scoundrels and the worst company in the field in Chile. A cheek overpayment and there is no clarity in anything. If you buy from abroad tell your seller to avoid FedEx like the plague. They are the worst and I only put the Star to make this comment, because they do not deserve any.

Lack of clarity in charges. I paid the transportation cost to my house, but they exceeded three times that amount, "customs and customs clearance and warehouse." A small cd ended up costing three times its price. Apart from that, it was terrible on the phone. Website is English 😪

Terrible service, I paid for an express dispatch, I had to arrive on Friday and after 5 days I call FedEx and they have no idea why the package hasn't arrived, they only deign to inform that it is in customs... when I ask for deadlines they tell me that they are It can take 1 week, 2 weeks or 1 month... I ask to speak with the supervisor and the executive Omar Leon indicates that he is not going to transfer the call to the supervisor because I just have to wait... it will be that I wait 1 year to find out something. A shame!!!! 😡😡😡😡
