I arrived at 18:00 to collect my passport sent to me by Dhl, as I placed my foot in the door, a lady just about placed her hand on my chest to prevent me from entering - I do not speak Spanish (my bad) but neither did she make any effort to try and understand me, despite uttering the word 'pasaporte' she just pointed at sign saying 18:00 close - that morning a colleague Chilean asked what time they close, and reply was 18:30 and that is what the directions/website states on google maps - I had my first unpleasant, not helpful experience in Chile - otherwise, I love the people and the country and its people immensely, I will not judge a people/country on one bad experience. Can just state Dhl Talca, up your game, be nice, be courteous, it costs nothing.
